첼리스트 김지원은 부산예술고등학교 및 부산대학교 졸업하고 독일 로스톡(Rostock) 국립음대 디플롬 졸업했다. 후에 독일 Bayerische Musikakademie Marktoberdorf에서 주최한 International Summer Academy for Young Artists 외 다수의 마스터클래스터에 참가와 연주를 했고 귀국 후 경기필하모닉, 원주시향, 고양심포니오케스트라, 코리아쿱오케스트라 객원단원, 부산심포니오케스트라 단원 및 아산시교향악단 객원수석 연주자로서 활동했다. 또한, 서울대한신학대학원대학교 사회교육원 첼로강사, 정선 꿈의오케스트라 첼로강사를 역임했으며, 현재 앙상블TOV, 모던앙상블 여백의 멤버로서 활동중이다.

Cellist Kim JiWon graduated from Busan Arts High School and Pusan National University, and graduated from Rostock National Music University. Later, she participated in and played various master classers including the International Summer Academy for Young Artists and Bayerische Musikakademie Marktoberdorf, Germany. She worked as a guest singer of the Asan Symphony Orchestra. She has also served as a cello lecturer at Seoul National Theological Seminary University and a cello lecturer at Jeong Seon’s Dream Orchestra. She is currently active as a member of the Ensemble TOV and Modern Ensemble YEOBACK (Blank).
