한양대학교 작곡과 및 동 대학원을 졸업하였으며, 미국 인디애나 대학(Indiana University, Bloomington) 에서 작곡전공과 음악이론 및 Creative Digital Art를 부전공으로 박사학위를 받았다. ARKO 한국창작음악제 공모당선, 한민족창작음악축전 본상, 서울음악제 오케스트라부분 입상, 서울작곡국제콩쿨 본선 진출 등과 미국 Midwest Composers Symposium, Threshold 2005 festival 등에 당선되었다. 현재 ACL-Korea 회원, ISCM 한국지부, (사)한국여성작곡가회, New Music Group 예음의 회원으로 활동하고 있으며, 현재 한양대, 숙명여대, 건국대, 숭실대에 출강하고 있다.

She graduated from the Department of Composition and Graduate School of Hanyang University and received her Ph.D. in Music Composition and Creative Digital Art from Indiana University, Bloomington. She was selected as the winner of the ARKO Korean Creative Music Festival, the Korean Creative Music Festival, the Seoul Music Festival Orchestra, the Seoul Composition International Competition, and the Midwest Composers Symposium, Threshold 2005 festival. Currently, she is a member of ACL-Korea, ISCM Korea Branch, Korean Women’s Composer’s Association, and New Music Group Ye-eum. She currently attends Hanyang University, Sookmyung Women’s University, Konkuk University, and Soongsil University.
